We're hiring! Our team is looking for someone with collection industry experience, whether with an agency, law firm, or debt buyer, to join us as a Compliance Auditor II. This role analyzes basic processes for compliance with all internal, regulatory, agency and investor specific guidelines and standards. The audits conducted are more quantitative in nature and recommendations are made to senior business leaders and vendors. Who you are: A superior communicator- able to effectively interact and relate to personnel at all levels of an organization, strong written and oral communication skills A multi-tasker- able to prioritize and manage multiple audits and projects simultaneously A critical thinker- able to employ intuition and analytical skills, and interpret information, to identify potential process breakdowns and their potential impact A consummate professional- able to represent an organization professionally A structured person- with exceptional attention to detail, organized and a problem solver A self-starter- able to work independently with minimal supervision A great listener- able to absorb information while observing a process or conducting interviews What the job involves: Auditing internal processes, as well as new and existing vendors (i.e., Collection Agencies and Law Firms) Manages audit issues and associated remediation from start to finish Conducts staff interviews, reviews document, develops audit observations result reports and communicates audit findings to management and vendor, virtually or in person Keeps management apprised of findings as audits progress Assists in audit process development and related testing, as well as other audit related duties as assigned or as situation requires What you bring: A Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or 3+ years equivalent in collection industry, management-level, and/or audit experience A broad, generalized knowledge of the unsecured, post charge-off and collection process, including legal recovery. Working knowledge of the primary debt collection industry regulatory laws, including but not limited to - FDCPA, TCPA, GLBA, FCRA, UDAAP, and other state and federal regulations Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.) Ability to travel up to 25% for site audit visits What we offer: A competitive salary with annual bonus and an excellent benefits program.
