Duties Support the Department’s public safety mission by
supervising and monitoring probationers in accordance with DOC
standards. The role enhances community safety through home
contacts, investigative support, and coordination with community
resources. It ensures accurate documentation, effective
communication, and timely reporting. Surveillance Officers play a
key role in probationer accountability and successful
reintegration. Minimum Qualifications Provides support to probation
and parole operations by conducting home contacts, engaging with
community partners, referring individuals to appropriate community
resources, and assisting with investigations and the development of
home plans. Demonstrates the ability to collect, analyze, and
accurately document information from multiple sources while
maintaining detailed records in accordance with departmental
standards. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing,
and possesses strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
including Word and Excel, along with experience using automated
databases and case management systems. Additional Considerations
Prior experience in surveillance operations and investigative
techniques, particularly within a criminal justice or human
services setting. Strong report writing skills are essential,
including the ability to produce clear, concise, and objective
