Position SummaryThe Department of Social Work at Western Carolina University invites application for a 9-month tenure track Social Work faculty position with employment beginning in January 2024. Qualifications include a MSW and a doctorate in Social Work or a related field. Candidates should demonstrate a well-developed research agenda and a commitment to scholarship, teaching and service. Duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate Social Work courses, serving as the program director for the MSW program, conducting research, publishing and presenting in professional venues, seeking extramural funding, advising students.
