Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC
Machinist/Set Up Technician for the 1st shift. The role involves
setting up and operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Mills. The
primary focus will be on setting up and optimizing the machines,
while operators run parts. Responsibilities Set up, verify, and run
parts using CNC machines efficiently. Regulate machining factors
such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.
Retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Detect
malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine
controls as required. Verify conformance of finished work pieces to
specifications using various gauges, including micrometers and
calipers. Complete inspections on different types of CMM equipment.
Collaborate with production manager, quality, leadership team, and
engineering to resolve machining issues and production
inefficiencies. Complete finishing and inspection processes for
finished parts and audit them to ensure they meet customer
expectations. Change out fixtures and tooling and perform set-up
operations for various CNC equipment. Provide direction and
leadership to other employees, serving as a mentor and
point-of-contact for management and other employees. Essential
Skills Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
including calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges,
indicators, and scales. Intermediate knowledge of tool holders,
cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and accessories used
on various machines. Demonstrated experience with CNC setups. CNC
Mill Machining Experience. Set up experience with Haas or Okuma
machines. Ability to read blueprints and perform changeovers.
Experience with lathe and machine operating. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Ability to work effectively with a team to resolve
production concerns. Experience in leading and mentoring other

for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. Paid training
