Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Electrical
Engineer will provide technical support to maintenance, operations,
safety, and quality teams within a high-volume manufacturing
environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, restoring
production flow, improving equipment reliability, and leading
electrical and automation-related improvements across the finishing
department. This is a 100% on-site role and ideal for an engineer
who enjoys working directly on the plant floor. Key
Responsibilities Provide electrical engineering support to
maintenance and operations, including off-shift support when needed
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to determine root cause
and implement permanent solutions Develop and improve preventative
maintenance systems Lead and manage equipment rebuilds and capital
improvement projects Serve as a technical subject matter expert for
department equipment and systems Support and promote safety,
quality, and environmental initiatives Analyze equipment and
process data to identify improvement opportunities Required
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an
accredited institution Minimum 2 years of electrical engineering
experience At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or
production environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLC
programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley
preferred) Experience with AC/DC motor drives Knowledge of
industrial networking and automation communications Experience with
power distribution systems Manufacturing experience in metals,
aluminum processing, rolling mills, or similar industries
Experience with furnaces, casting equipment, shears, strip
processing, or coiling systems Familiarity with data acquisition
systems and data analytics Experience managing and executing
capital projects Strong communication, problem-solving, and
cross-functional collaboration skills
