DOE Shift Premium: $1.50/hr. Position Responsibilities: Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Mills. Operate multiple machines simultaneously. Make machine adjustments as needed. Maintain excellent quality and high efficiency. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as comparators, indicators, calipers, height gauges, and micrometers, to inspect and adhere to close tolerance requirements. Comply with all Company safety regulations. Maintain housekeeping and organization. Follow 5S, lean manufacturing principles, and ISO standards. Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality System (e.g., applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process). May be required to perform other jobs as needed by the Company. Essential Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent At least 3-5 years of CNC Milling/Lathing operational experience Strong math background, preferably in machine/shop math Must be able to read and interpret blueprints Ability to troubleshoot issues Attentive to detail Able to work in an environment of oil, coolant, and chips Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Skills and Experience: Technical degree CompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
