Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist, where you will work on state-of-the-art CNC machinery, including new equipment from Sweden. This role offers the opportunity to travel to Sweden for a couple of weeks for specialized training. We have openings across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, as well as a tool and die position. Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery that is no older than 10 years. Participate in training sessions in Sweden to familiarize yourself with new machinery. Work on a variety of shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Engage in tool and die operations as necessary. Utilize programming skills to create and modify CNC programs using G&M codes. Conduct machine setups and interpret blueprints for precise machining tasks. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of machinery. Essential Skills Proficiency in lathe, mill, and general machining techniques. Experience with programming and setting up CNC machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Familiarity with G&M codes for CNC programming. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with EDM machines is a plus. Ability to create conversational programs. Ensure readiness to adapt to these conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Surgoinsville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
