Bristol Industries, LLC is seeking a Project Controls Manager in
Wilmington, NC-- Supporting Program, Operations, and Project
Managers with effective business management, including but not
limited to project-specific cost tracking, cost control, and
reporting and variance analysis; assistance with Estimate to
Complete (ETC) development based on trend analysis; margin
analysis; earned value calculation and reporting; cash flow
analysis for payables and receivables; and closeout reporting and
appropriate rate adjustments.
Support Managers in developing external client financial
requirements, such as project Cost Variance analysis and
Support Managers in developing internal financial requirements,
such as monthly margin analysis, ETC, revenue, and cost
forecasting, earned value calculations, and Accounts Payable and
Supervise, mentor, and develop Project Administrators (PA) and
Project Controls (PC) staff, including peer review of project
budget setup, cost codes, and cost tracking/coding of accrued costs
such as RCMS or Excel-based tools, development of cost variance
reports, tools and procedures for cost accruals and reconciliation
of cost tracking with Bristol Accounting system.
Ensure operations staff comply with Bristol procedures and
Interface with Contract Administration, Invoicing, Certified
Payroll, Accounting, and other Bristol resources to ensure
effective and timely communication of Company, project, and client
Travel as required to interface with client for project setup and
closeout, PA and PC staff, and Bristol resources as necessary.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum fifteen years of recent experience in corporate accounting,
accounts payable/receivable or cost analysis.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Detail oriented problem solver.
Direct experience with corporate accounting procedures, computer
systems, and querying/ reporting.
Ability to gather and analyze data, reason logically and
creatively, draw conclusions and make appropriate
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, to prioritize and
organize, work well under stress in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to constant change.
Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills to assist and communicate with staff
Strong Excel, Access (or other database), and Word skills.
Ability to perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Preferred Knowledge or Skills
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Management or Finance.
Federal Contracting, with experience in Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Unit
Price, and Firm Fixed Price contracts and subcontracts.
Prior project controls experience with Wells Fargo Invoice
Management Systems, Spectrum Accounting Software, and Tagetek.
Sedentary physical workload.
Employee must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the
Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as
viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
Specific physical requirements include, but are not limited to,
walking, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions.
