- - -And much more---POSITION SUMMARY: -The Regional Marketing & Communications Director is responsible for managing projects and executing marketing and communications tactics to support the goals of LifePoint Health. -
The Director supports Harris Regional Hospital, Swain Community Hospital and Haywood Regional Medical Center. In close coordination with the HSC Division Director of Marketing & Communications, the director is responsible for the implementation of marketing and communications plans for the hospitals, including: website and social media content maintenance; internal communications platforms (employees and physicians); public relations/earned media plan; coordination and engagement in local community events and sponsorships; and placement of paid advertisements.Essential Functions
--- Assist the Division Director of Marketing & Communications with the implementation of local and organizational strategic priorities
--- Serve as on-site representation of marketing and communications with local stakeholders, as needed
--- Coordinate advertising efforts with local hospital and regional/organizational leadership--- Promote hospital services through various types of media
--- Responsible for physician relation activities related to marketing campaigns, physician events, referral development, identification of opportunities to collaborate with physician groups
--- Develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally throughout the market area to position LifePoint in its community as a healthcare leader
--- Coordinate crisis communications with HSC Division Director of Marketing & Communications and local CEOsJob RequirementsMinimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field.Required Skills--- Strong computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint--- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong verbal communications and excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills--- Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions--- Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision--- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage marketing initiatives from inception through completion.Minimum Work Experience: Three to five years Marketing and communications/PR experience is desired.EEOC Statement:
