    Job Summary and QualificationsThe Resource Nurse Coordinator supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Resource Nurse Coordinator supports multiple units. The Resource Nurse Coordinator provides guidance and education on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
    What qualifications you will need:
      • Required Education: BSN
      • Preferred Education: MSN or Master's degree in related field.
      • Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
      • Required Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),Preceptor Training, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS),Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI),Business Emergency Response Training (BERT), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
      • Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty
      • Required Experience: Minimum 2 years previous RN experience.
      • Preferred Experience: One year leadership experience (charge nurse, nursing unit supervisor, council member, etc.), One year of experience as a preceptor.
