Comprehensive Pain Consultants of the Carolinas, a PartnerCare
affiliated company, is seeking a Board-Certified Physician
Assistant to work with a well-respected Pain Management practice in
Murphy, NC.

How You Contribute and Succeed
You will be experienced with pain and medication management and
will be able to provide patient centered care with high patient
satisfaction!
Collaborate with the Physician and other Providers to create a
safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management and
treatment plan
Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients by
performing and obtaining comprehensive or problem-focused physical
examinations and medical histories.
Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other
diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care
needs.
Maintains (accurately, timely and complete) appropriate Electronic
Health records detailing the patient's treatment plans and
outcomes. Initiates timely consultation and referral when the
problem exceeds scope of practice and/or expertise.
Counsels patients and families regarding medical processes,
management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition,
and health promotion. Counsels patients about drug regimens and
possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as
food supplements, over the counter medications and herbal
remedies.
Review patient documents to measure the effectiveness and quality
of patient care.
Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a
comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping
patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much
as possible.
Ideal Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant (AANP or NCCPA
Certification)
Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with
Schedule II
Experienced preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
CPR certification for Health Care Providers
ACLS and BLS certification required.
