Job Description:

Title: Clinical Assistant
Payrate: $15/hr
Schedule: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
Startdate: ASAP - 2 weeks from the offer
Contract to hire: Minimum between 3 to 6mos
Location: ONSITE - Greer SC 29650
Vaccination Requirement: Required

Required Qualifications

--- at least 6 months+ experience in provider documentation/notes and medical charting
---Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems.
---Experience with specialized transcription equipment and voice recognition software.

Responsibilities

---The Clinical Assistant is responsible for editing and correcting medical dictation performed by speech recognition software.
---The Clinical Assistant is responsible for ensuring uncompromised patient care by transcribing fast and accurately, as well as performing thorough editing.
---The Clinical Assistant is responsible for typing out the full forms of medical abbreviations and acronyms, as well as the formal versions of medical jargon.
---The Clinical Assistant is responsible for identifying and following up on inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within a transcribed report.
---The Clinical Assistant is responsible for submitting transcriptions to healthcare professionals for their approval in a timely manner.
