expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications The Trauma Performance
Improvement (PI) Coordinator works with trauma program leadership
to coordinate all aspects of the department's Performance
Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program. The PI Coordinator
will review the continuum of care to determine compliance with
practice management guidelines, policies and procedures, and
established standards of care. What you will do in this role:Assist
in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Trauma
Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.Maintain the Trauma
PI database to ensure adequate documentation as required by
regulatory agencies.Complete concurrent review of cases to identify
quality, timelines and systems of care to meet state
standards.Participate in hospital education programs for nurses and
resident physicians caring for trauma patients.Serve as a liaison
to the clinical areas responsible for trauma patients.Coordinate
multidisciplinary monthly Trauma Systems & Operations Committee and
Peer Review meetings.\n What qualifications you will need: Required
Education: Bachelor of Science in NursingPreferred Education:
Master's Degree in Nursing, or related fieldRequired License: Must
have and maintain licensure as registered nurse with the North
Carolina Board of Nursing.Required Experience: Three years clinical
experience.Preferred Experience: Ability to work with spreadsheets
and databases.Required Certification: National certification in
critical care or trauma care. This role requires you to be fully
vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law
or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is
