Qualifications:
- The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high
quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in
the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration
with other members of the management team, the CNC directs,
monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established
policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and
models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to
support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes
that contribute to overall departmental performance. What
qualifications you will need: Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Effective 6/24/2021 (NC Division):
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced
degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN
position. Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and
Mission Health entities. Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved
by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members.
Each facility will ensure tracking of exemptions should this
information be needed. RNs with 10 years or more of experience are
exempt.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the
state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in
accordance with law and regulation. Must have and maintain current
licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of
Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply,
licensee should confirm with NCBON.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 1+ years applicable experience Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- National Nursing Certification in area of specialty , -located
in Asheville, North Carolina, serves as the regional tertiary and
quaternary care facility for Western North Carolina and the
adjoining region. Mission Hospital is licensed for 815 beds and is
the region's only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke
center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and includes the
