Description Introduction This position is eligible for a sign on

continue to learn! Job Summary and Qualifications The Lead Nurse in
the Outpatient Infusion Center is certified in the administration
of chemotherapeutic/biotherapy agents and serves as a role model
for the staff. The Lead will provide clinical directions by
coordinating daily activities and care delivery for the Outpatient
Infusion department clinical operations. What qualifications you
will need: Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Nurses with an Associate Degree or Diploma in nursing must sign
agreement to obtain BSN within 6 years of the hire date in to
position. Nurses who are nearing the end of their professional
career may be exempted from this requirement with CNO System
Council approval. Must have Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider
Certification. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
and National Certifications Required License: Must have and
maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North
Carolina Board of Nursing. Compact license may apply, licensee
should confirm with NCBON; BCLS. Chemotherapy administration
certification (APHON certification preferred by manager)Preferred
License: National Certification in area. OCN Certification Required
Experience: Outpatient Infusion nursing experience of more than 2
years; (Preferred Pediatric Outpatient Infusion
Experience)Preferred Experience: Three to five years of Oncology
Nursing experience Pediatric Experience Preferred, Peds Oncology
