Harris Regional Hospital -$30,000 sign on bonus. A 2-year
commitment period is required. - The Bonus payout occurs over the

Summary:The Registered Nurse-First Assistant provides direct
assistance to the surgeon(s) during surgical procedures. The RN
First Assistant may be scheduled to function in the scrub or
circulating role when not assigned to FA duties.Essential
Functions:Positions patient to give best exposure for surgical
procedure, using stabilizing equipment when necessary, while
maximizing patient comfort and safety.Provides visualization of the
operative site using appropriate method, including manipulation of
tissue and materials, retraction, sponging, suctioning, and
irrigation.Utilizes appropriate technique to achieve temporary and
permanent hemostasis.Assists with body plane closure, application
of wound dressings, and securing of drainage systems.Minimum
Qualifications:
Licenses: Registered Nurse licensed
in NC or a compact state. - Certifications required: Current RN
First Assistant certification is required. AHA Basic Life Support
life safety required upon hire and maintained thereafter. - Minimum
Work Experience: 1 year previous experience as RNFA is desired. 2
years previous experience as an OR circulator RN is desired. -EEOC
