• Employment Type: TravelData Collection : Unit Information: ( GERI PSYCH ) Location: Mission Hospital Address: 428 Biltmore Avenue Floor: Fifth Building: Saint Joseph Campus General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Number of Beds - 9 Number of Staff - 7 Type of staff: Day Shift - 2 RN's, 2 BHT's, Sitters when assigned Night Shift - 1 RN, 2 BHT's, Sitters when assigned Patient Ratios - 5-9 Type of equipment - Vital signs machine, Hoyer lift, glucometer, IV's, bladder scanner, bed alarms, chair alarms, crash cart EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Behavioral H ealth and Medical Experience. Likes caring for geriatric patients. Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Caring and compassion. Assessment skills. Ability to work well on a team. Critical Thinking Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Ability to de-escalate patients Flexibility List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Vital Signs, Rapid Response, Code Blue, bladder scans, blood draws, Best personality Fit: Caring, compassionate, patient, team player, REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, BLS Floating Area ( s ) : All adult inpatient areas . Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire - navy blue, White top and navy Blue pants or all white Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines .
