*Job Title: Registered Nurse **Position Type: Auto Offer Position**Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry**Location: Asheville, NC**Duration: 13-weeks contract with possible extension**Shift: 7:00AM-7:00PM**Guaranteed: 36 Hrs. per week**Tentative Start Date: 9/15/2024 **Pay Range: $2000-2113/Week**Job Description:*We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.*Qualifications:** Current Registered Nurse (RN) license In North Carolina.* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.* BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg and/or telemetry nursing.* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.* Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.*Key Responsibilities:** Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs.* Monitor, assess, and document patients' conditions, including interpreting telemetry readings.* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.* Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.* Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition, including initiating emergency interventions when necessary.* Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.* Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patient rights are respected and upheld.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in Med/Surg and telemetry nursing through ongoing education and professional development.Job Types: Full-time, ContractExperience:* Medical-surgical/Tele: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* RN (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
