  • The purpose of a unit profile is to provide an exceptional screenshot of the unit.
  • Profiles should include unique details to assist recruiting professionals in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff.
    • Job Requirements
    • Experience with all cardiac diagnosis, emphasis on vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, CVA
    • Must have: ICU or ED experience; would prefer previous IR experience, moderate sedation experience
    • Advanced skills needed: ACLS/PALS
      • Schedule Information
      • 4 10 hour shifts per week; on call 4-5 weekday nights per 6 week schedule, and every 10-11th weekend
      • Floating policy: We do not float. We do flex based on volume.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Beds: 24
        • Patient Ratios: 3-4:1 pre/post; and 1:1 intraprocedural
        • Unit staffing description: CNA support in both pre/post areas
        • Type of equipment: IV Pumps, Specialty Beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes
        • Documentation system: Cerner
        • Patient Experience requirements: Critical care and/or previous procedural experience (IR preferred)
        • Procedures performed on unit: IR, Invasive CT, and Invasive Ultrasound cases
        • Dress Code: Green hospital issued scrubs
          • Additional Details
          • Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.
          • Code Trauma and Code Stroke Program.
          • Comprehensive Stroke Center.
