Job Description:
Seeking a Physician Assistant for Orthopedics Trauma with
responsibilities including rounding, assisting in clinic and
surgery, and rotating weekend call every 6-8 weeks. Provide patient
consultation, routine care, follow-up, and assist physicians with
procedures, acting as a liaison between patients and doctors.
Perform detailed assessments, diagnose, order tests, administer
treatments, and educate patients on medications and care.
Assist in surgeries, wound care, and post-op activities, especially
for neurosurgical cases, and ensure pre-op testing is complete.
In the ER, assist with triage, radiographic studies, and patient
management under supervision. For mental health, conduct
assessments following regulations.
Requires PA degree, Oklahoma licensure, BLS certification,
effective communication, with preferred experience in surgery or
emergency settings, and certifications like ACLS/PALS as
applicable.
