Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech/Surgical Tech (CST) - Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 4 Patient Ratios: 1:1 Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR Type of equipment: GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u/s Documentation system: Cerner Procedures performed on unit: large bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement. Transport patient to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS Scheduling requirements: M-F 0500-1330 On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week Floating policy: Within scope of practice and experience Patient Experience requirements: Critical Care experience a must, Pre Op experience a plus Requested Skill Set: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team Must have: Good critical thinking skills Dress Code: (Required uniform) Provided.
