Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Maternal - Newborn - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel About this Job As a Mother/Baby nurse, also sometimes called a Postpartum RN, you'll be tasked with caring for both mother and child after birth has taken place. Mother/Baby RNs carefully monitor both patients, providing care and watching for any post-birth complications that may arise. Mother/Baby RNs also help counsel new parents on the first steps of infant care prior to their release from the hospital. Post Partum / Mother and Baby RN requirements Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure. Travel healthcare professionals are experienced caregivers who adapt quickly to change and enjoy learning new things.
