ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work in Interventional Spine unit at two locations: 7 Vanderbilt Park Drive/Asheville or 2695 Hendersonville Rd./Arden • Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 • Must have experience with IV starts • Must have knowledge of blood thinners/NSAIDS • Preferred to be proficient in patient assessments • Work with vital signs monitors, C-Arm Fluoroscopy, and lead aprons • Assist with cervical & lumbar epidural injections and sacral iliac joint injections • Support hip injections and medical branch blocks • Use Cerner EMR system • Day shift staffing includes 3-4 RNs and 1 Rad Tech per location • May float between both office locations • Required certifications: BCLS, RN license • Dress code: White scrub top/Navy scrub pants or Navy scrub top/Navy scrub pants • Team-focused work environment preferred • No weekends or on-call requirements Facility: This flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and has been recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals from 2020-2023 by Healthgrades, placing it in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
