Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel About this Job As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse, or PICU RN, you'll be responsible for providing the highest level of medical care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. PICU RNs provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure, so you must have strong clinical knowledge in addition to a caring bedside manner. PICU RN requirements Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure.
