with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Asheville, North
Carolina, 28801! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

experience License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: Candidates must have 2 years nursing experience.
Candidates must have experience working with trachs. Description:
This unit has 23 step-down beds and 16 medical-surgical beds. There
are 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 4 Patient Care Technicians on the
day shift. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, and
4 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are typically 1:3-4 for
step-down and 1:4-6 for medical-surgical. Equipment includes lifts,
chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, and trachs. The
electronic medical record system is Cerner. Typical procedures
performed on this unit include trach care, chest tube management,
and wound dressing changes. The ideal candidate will possess
flexibility and a high level of clinical competence. Weekends will
require 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period. 5 Benefits
