Job Description:

The Healthcare Services Manager at Children's Hospital, a collaborator with the University of Tennessee Medical Center, plays a vital role in leading our efforts to provide exceptional trauma care and services to pediatric patients. This position is pivotal in ensuring that injured children receive the highest quality treatment and that our partnerships with other local hospitals are leveraged to enhance pediatric healthcare capabilities regionally. Oversee day-to-day operations of pediatric healthcare services. Collaborate with medical professionals and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care. Develop and implement policies and procedures that adhere to healthcare regulations and standards. Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Coordinate with local hospitals to provide pediatric healthcare training and support. Prepare and monitor budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and seek funding opportunities. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management software Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively Knowledge of pediatric healthcare standards and regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
