Learn more about us at www.tkhealth.care. /n/n Location: Johnson County Jail, Jail, Mountain City TN /n/n Job Description: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) /n/n /n/t - Full-time days /n/t - Rotating Weekends /n/t - Vaccines not mandatory /n /n/n Under the supervision of the physician, the AEMT performs medical screening during the booking process in accordance with policies and procedures, current standards of practice and care and applicable state/federal regulations. Monitors patients and report changes in condition or vital signs. /n/n /n/t - Performs vital signs /n/t - Completes the Intake Screening in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable standards /n/t - Observes, records and reports to the Nurse symptoms and conditions related to the patient /n/t - Routinely inspects, cleans and monitors equipment and supplies. Reports any equipment or supply issues for correction or repair. /n/t - Obtains, records and reports vital signs /n/t - Demonstrates awareness of proper infection control practice by using Universal Precautions and following policies and procedures. /n/t - Communicates to patients, staff and others in accurate and factual manner and seeks clarification from or refers questions to Nurse when indicated /n/t - Works collaboratively with other members of the health care team, and correctional staff in coordination of the patient's care /n/t - Perform other duties as assigned. /n /n/n /n/n /n /n/n /n Turn Key Job ID 113262.
