Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,027 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The hospital is committed to providing high-quality care and recognized nationally for its achievements in patient safety and clinical excellence. It is licensed for 815 beds and serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke, neonatal care, and pediatric care. The hospital is known for its robotic surgery program and cardiovascular services. This unit has 32 individual rooms and a staff of 50. The day shift typically has a patient ratio of 5:1, while the night shift is 6:1. Equipment used includes walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, and various lifting devices. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. Candidates must hold a valid North Carolina license and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include hospital experience and orthopedic experience. Typical procedures performed include dressing changes, suture/staple removal, and wound vac maintenance. The ideal candidate is a team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and provides care with compassion. Every other weekend may be required for this position.
