ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Schedule Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, every other weekend required. Job Description The Emergency Room Nurse will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department, recognized for its excellence in patient care and safety. The successful candidate will work in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, playing a vital role in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols. Participate in triage, assess patient conditions, and initiate appropriate care plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Cerner system. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED (100,000 visits annually) preferred. Certifications required prior to hire: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS.
