Family Medicine Residency Program Seeking an experienced Family
Medicine Program Director to lead and grow Family Medicine
Residency Program in Norton, Virginia. This is an exciting
leadership role designed for a physician-educator committed to
developing the next generation of Family Medicine physicians while
contributing to excellence in patient care and graduate medical
education.Role Overview:The Program Director holds responsibility
for all aspects of program leadership, including:• Program
administration and operations • Curriculum development and
oversight of resident education • Supervision, evaluation,
promotion, and discipline of residents • Resident recruitment and
selection • Ensuring scholarly activity within the program •
Fostering an environment that supports resident well-being, patient
safety, and high-quality care Qualifications:• Current
certification by the ABFM or AOBFM • At least 3 years of documented
educational and/or administrative experience • Active medical
license and eligibility for medical staff appointment •
Demonstrated ongoing clinical activity • Proven ability to work
within interdisciplinary and interprofessional teams • Commitment
to creating a supportive, high-functioning learning environment
