Required Skills: Active and unrestricted medical license in Tennessee or eligible for licensing Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist settings Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage high-volume obstetric cases efficiently and compassionately Nice to Have Skills: Experience in a locum tenens or temporary staffing environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Prior experience in rural or community hospital settings Bilingual capabilities to enhance patient communication Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience is highly desirable Other Requirements: Must be able to work 24-hour shift rotations, including clinic, call, and on-call responsibilities Compliance with all hospital credentialing and privileging requirements Willingness to travel as needed; all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements are provided Compensation for this position is structured at an hourly rate of $214.50, with weekly pay via direct deposit, ensuring timely and reliable income.
