Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Maryville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Maryville, Tennessee, 37804! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required. License: Must have an active RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience. - Ability to float to other units as required based on skill set. - Weekend coverage is mandatory. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Daily census is approximately 30 patients, with a patient ratio of 6:1 on nights. The nurse will be required to manage various medical conditions including pre and post-operative patients. The role includes performing bedside procedures such as dialysis catheter insertion and thoracentesis. Additionally, the nurse will utilize rapid response and code teams when necessary. The environment includes interdisciplinary support from therapy and respiratory services. Isolation precautions and basic infection control measures are essential. Experience with a charting system is required, specifically with EPIC EMR. This role may include floating to other units as needed to ensure staffing needs are met. The ability to perform peripheral line care and management, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management is necessary. Reimbursement is provided for completion of mandatory pre-assignment modules and testing.
