Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby Registered Nurse – North Carolina
Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: North Carolina Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour night
shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend; flexibility to pick
up additional shifts with overtime after 48 hours Highlights: Labor
& Delivery nursing with Mother-Baby cross-coverage in an 18-bed
unit 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal care delivery
Supportive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory
services, pharmacy, rapid response, and more 24-hour paid
orientation to ensure a smooth transition Local and travel nurses
welcome; prior travel experience preferred 13-week assignment with
one pre-approved block of time off Requirements: Active RN license
in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery
experience with Mother-Baby skills Current certifications: BLS,
ACLS (American Heart Association), and NRP Experience with triage
of obstetrical patients and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal
heart rate patterns Ability to circulate for C-sections preferred
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification is a plus COVID-19
vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Why
