Overview Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. About the Practice: The practice consists of 7 total physicians along with a great support staff. The practice has built up a solid patient base by serving women in the Asheville area for almost 40 years. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are completed at Mission Hospital. Mission Hospital has a level 3 NICU Unit, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries, and the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) residency program. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an excellent group of physicians in a growing area and a great hospital system. Looking for a physician who wants to work hospital shifts and focus their career on Labor & Delivery. Practice Highlights: * Shifts will be at Mission Hospital. Mission Hospital is a level 1 trauma center with a level 3 NICU, hospitalist support and the da Vinci robotic system * Private Call Room for the practice is provided with full amenities. * Hospital has L&D cover team that can tag-team and assist hospitalist * Full time position - 5pm-8am * Provider will be required to work 10 days per month * Generally 2-3 consecutive shifts * Group malpractice coverage * Call is shared with another practice group * Competitive compensation and benefits package * $30K commencement and $30K retention bonus City/Location Highlights * Experience the charm of local neighborhoods and the appeal of small-town Appalachia by exploring one of the many communities surrounding Asheville.
