Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,878 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: NICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in NICU License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: NRP required, STABLE and NIC-RNC preferred Must-Have: Level III or higher NICU experience (2 years or more preferred) Detail-oriented and organized Description: This position involves providing care for neonatal patients in a high-acuity setting. The unit consists of 51 beds staffed by a dedicated team. Team members include 120 staff members during the day and night shifts. Typical patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4, ensuring individualized attention. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Candidates without required skills will not be considered. Preferred qualifications may give certain candidates an advantage during the hiring process. Experience in floating areas such as Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother-Baby (babies only) may be beneficial.
