background Description: General Comments: Unit Information: Number
of Beds - 20 Type of Staff: Day Shift Grid staffing includes Charge
Nurse and 10 nurses. Night Shift Grid staffing includes Charge
Nurse and 10 nurses. Patient Ratios - 1:2, 1:3 with staffing
challenges. Type of Equipment - Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, Wound vacs,
arterial/CVC lines. EMR - Cerner. Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set
Most Recruited For: Must have candidates without these skills will
not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have
candidates with these skills will be considered first. List of
Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Central line, chest tube,
arterial line insertions, percutaneous tracheostomies. Best
Personality Fit: Teamwork oriented. Floating Areas: MICU, NSICU,
CICU, CVICU, PCU. Dress Code: Navy blue top and bottom or navy
bottom, white top. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Every other weekend.
