- BLS Certification Description: We are committed to making a

awarded for excellence in patient safety and nursing standards. We
serve as a referral center for trauma and comprehensive stroke
care. Our inpatient unit consists of 24 beds with a team of
dedicated staff. The unit typically has a patient-to-nurse ratio of
1:4 or 1:5. Our electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
Candidates should possess a willingness to learn and be team
players. Chemotherapy certification is preferred but not required.
Typical procedures performed on the unit may include pelvic exams
and thoracentesis. Staff may occasionally float to other
medical-surgical units. The dress code includes navy and white for
RNs and galaxy blue for CNAs. Staff are expected to work some
