Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; overnight coverage
(includes every other weekend) Hours per Week: 38 Candidate Pay

Roles & Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality
orthopedic nursing care to post-op and medical-surgical patients
Perform dressing changes, suture and staple removal, and wound vac
maintenance Manage devices such as Foley catheters and NG tubes
safely and effectively Use Cerner EMR to document care, meds, and
patient progress accurately Assist with mobility and safe patient
handling using lifts, walkers, and transfer equipment Collaborate
with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement
patient-centered plans Educate patients and families on post-op
care and discharge instructions Support a positive unit culture by
being a dependable, team-oriented caregiver Qualifications Active
NC Registered Nurse license (required) BLS certification (required)
Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (hospital/acute care
preferred) Ortho nursing experience preferred Comfortable with
Med-Surg and orthopedic procedures and equipment Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency with Cerner EMR and accurate clinical documentation
Strong wound care skills, including wound vac management Experience
with post-operative orthopedic care and mobility aids Ability to
safely manage catheters, NG tubes, and routine procedures Excellent
communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced
environment Familiarity with patient ratio expectations and
