Date: 02-16-2026 End Date: 05-18-2026 Contract Type: Travel
Contract Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts (overnight),
typical shift 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; schedule varies with alternating
weekends and rotating nights Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate:

Responsibilities Provide expert critical care nursing for CICU
patients, using evidence-based practices to improve outcomes
Titrate vesicant medications and manage vasopressors with precision
to maintain hemodynamic stability Manage sedation and paralytic
therapy safely while monitoring patient response Operate and manage
mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy care for complex patients
Interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data, including setup and
interpretation of PA catheters Perform and assist with unit
procedures such as transvenous pacing, cardioversion, chest tube
care, and central line management Document thoroughly in Cerner to
ensure clear communication and continuity of care Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient-centered
plans of care Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of ICU/CICU nursing experience (experience
requirement listed) Demonstrated competency with mechanical
ventilation, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
Experience with PA catheter setup and interpretation, vasopressor
management, sedation and paralytic management Comfort with advanced
cardiac support devices and therapies (IABP, Impella, CRRT) is a
plus CCRN certification recommended but not required Knowledge &
Skills Mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy care Telemetry
interpretation and advanced cardiac monitoring Hemodynamic
assessment and PA catheter setup/interpretation Titration of
vesicant meds and vasopressor management Sedation and paralytic
management Transvenous pacing and cardioversion familiarity Chest
tube insertion/maintenance and central line care Experience with
Cerner documentation Familiarity with IABP, Impella, CRRT, and
