Job Description Job Description Pharmacy Technician – 1099 Independent Contractor (Elderly Care Department) Location: Greenville, SC (In-Office / On-Site Role) Practice: iTrust Wellness Group, LLC Status: 1099 Independent Contractor We are seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our Elderly Care Department as an Independent Contractor (1099). This non-clinical position focuses on medication coordination, administrative support, and care collaboration in a professional mental health environment. This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician who values autonomy, professional flexibility, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a collaborative mental health team. Position Overview As a 1099 Pharmacy Technician Contractor, you will partner with our providers and administrative team to ensure smooth care coordination for clients in our Elderly Care program. This role blends administrative support with clinical communication, without traditional retail or dispensing responsibilities. Responsibilities Provide medication coordination and support for elderly clients under provider supervision Complete medication prior authorizations and manage prescription-related follow-up Communicate professionally with clients, pharmacies, and healthcare partners Respond promptly to calls, emails, and messages Document accurately and efficiently within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Schedule and coordinate client appointments as needed Draft and send written correspondence in a clear, professional manner Maintain confidentiality and uphold iTrust’s values and mission in every interaction Collaborate with team members while functioning independently to meet deadlines Qualifications Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and professional reliability Client-centered approach with a commitment to quality and detail Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor Preferred: Active CPhT Certification Experience or interest in mental health or behavioral healthcare Familiarity with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) Prior experience in private practice, outpatient, or care coordination settings Compensation & Terms Independent Contractor (1099) Position Competitive hourly rate: $20–$25/hour (based on experience and efficiency) Flexible scheduling during standard business hours Contracted role — compensation only for hours worked; benefits not included Opportunities for continued contract renewal and long-term collaboration Why Partner With iTrust Wellness Group?
