mission. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor,
record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care,
including assessment, interventions, and treatment outcomes.
Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Operate and monitor
medical equipment as necessary. Administer medications to patients
and observe reactions or side effects. Prepare patients for, and
assist with, examinations or treatments. Educate patients and their
families on disease processes, medical surgical procedures, and
other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) Patient/family education and instruction Ability to
work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Proficient with
electronic medical record (EMR) systems Strong clinical skills in a
critical care environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of employment Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
preferred but not required
