nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job
in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements -

Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum
of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required.
Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for
extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.
$750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PICU /n/n
Job Details: /n • Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
with patient ratios of 1 RN to 1-2 patients /n• Stepdown unit
coverage with ratios of 1 RN to 2-3 patients /n• Must work 3
weekends within a 6-week schedule /n• Self-scheduling available /n•
Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed /n• Dress code requires all
navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops /n• Work with Alaris
pump equipment and Cerner documentation system /n• Unit has Health
Unit Coordinator working 9 AM to 9 PM, tech shared with PICU /n•
Perform IV starts, catheter insertions, hold for lumbar punctures,
central line dressing changes /n• Provide hemodynamic monitoring,
trach care, tube feeding and placement /n• Monitor ICP and manage
ventilators /n• PALS certification required /n• Minimum 1 year PICU
