Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment Schedule: Day Shift, Weekday Position. Call May Be Required. More about our team The operating room is equipped with six beds and handles an average of 400 cases per month. The scope of procedures includes a diverse range of specialties: Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Cataract and Retinal Eye surgeries, Gynecologic, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic and Reconstructive, and Gastroenterological surgeries. The majority of cases are general and orthopedic. Surgical operations are conducted Monday through Friday, with additional night, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: - Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs - Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions - Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient - Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record - Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient - Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state. Additional requirements include: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. - AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. - One year of experience preferred - Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
