Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel Pathology Assistant for a travel job in Boone, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pathology Assistant - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 32 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field. - Education meeting 1988 CLIA CFR 493.1489 requirements, including at least 60 semester hours with: - 24 semester hours of Medical Laboratory Technology, OR - 24 semester hours of science courses including 6 hours chemistry, 6 hours biology, and 12 hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology. - Completion of an accredited clinical laboratory training program (ABHES, NAACLA, or HHS-approved) or minimum 3 months documented laboratory training. - At least 6 months of related laboratory experience (1 year preferred). Preferred Qualifications - AAPA fellowship status. - ASCP Pathology Assistant (PA) certification or equivalent.
