Job Description Position: Physician Radiologist Salary: $350,000
- $360,000 Table P001, Tier T02 Who May Apply: S. Citizenship;

ask for? Job Description Current staffing: 1 Chief, 1 Assistant
Chief, 9 Staff Radiologist (7.0 FTE) This position will report to
the Assistant Chief of Imaging Service. Hospital-based practice.
Practice Environment Description: 78,213 RVU FY2024 & 12,724 RVU
1st FY2025 Non-Supervisory. Call rotation serves as contingency for
teleradiology service and covers weekends/holidays 8:00am-11:00am.
Highlights of this position include: Daily schedule: Monday –
Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30pm. Night and weekend call distributed on an
equitable basis with other staff. Additional requirements: Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
Subspeciality fellowship desirable. Academic affiliations with
MAHEC, AB Tech and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Radiography and US technologist student, medical student, and
internal medicine resident rotations. Additional comments The
Imaging Service has a collegial atmosphere that fosters a rewarding

Flexibilities Regular market pay reviews, sign on bonus, up to
$15,000 in Annual Performance bonus. Malpractice Insurance VA
physicians are covered under the Federal Tort Claims Act - 28
U.S.C. § 1346 and 28 U.S.C § 2671. Medical personnel have statutory
immunity from “individual” malpractice liability while acting
within the scope of employment; a VA physician cannot be sued in
civil court for a malpractice (tort) claim.
