Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites applications for the position of Nurse
Extern Medical Surgical PRN, designed to provide a nurturing
learning environment for nursing students. Working alongside
seasoned medical professionals at our advanced healthcare
facilities, the extern will gain hands-on experience in a
supportive, patient-focused setting. The role is ideal for those
pursuing a nursing degree, seeking practical experience in a highly
respected healthcare environment. Assist in the provision of direct
patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Help in
monitoring patient health and documenting nursing care status.
Prepare and administer medications as directed. Provide assistance
in patient mobility and personal care. Support the health care team
with the implementation of patient care plans. Basic understanding
of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively
in a team. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR
certification required.
