At HCA Healthcare, we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team. This position entails providing top-tier psychiatric nursing care to adolescents who are dealing with various mental health issues. The role requires a strong focus on safety, therapeutic environment creation, and adherence to treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Our nurses are at the forefront of our mission to care for and improve human life, offering support not only to patients but their families. Assessing mental health needs of adolescent patients Developing and implementing detailed nursing care plans Managing medication and monitoring responses Providing crisis intervention and support Educating patients and their families on treatment and care practices Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members Strong psychiatric knowledge Excellent communication Crisis intervention skills Empathy and patience Ability to educate and counsel Team collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certification Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) preferred
