Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our specialized team in
delivering high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care. This
role involves working at our state-of-the-art facilities, focusing
on adult patients dealing with mental health challenges. The
position requires a dynamic nurse who can assess and manage the
psychiatric state of patients, administer prescribed medications,
and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate holistic
care plans. Assess patient mental health conditions, develop
nursing care plans, and monitor progress. Administer medications as
prescribed and monitor for side-effects. Collaborate with
psychiatrists, therapists, and the healthcare team to enhance
patient wellbeing. Educate patients and families on mental health
conditions and management strategies. Maintain a safe, inclusive,
and supportive environment for patients. Strong psychiatric
assessment and counseling skills Ability to manage psychiatric
emergencies Proficient in applying clinical psychiatric protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy and
patience in dealing with psychiatric patients Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certified
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (CPMHN) certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
