Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered
Nurse (RN) for our Neurological Surgical Intensive Care Unit
(NSICU) at our state-of-the-art facility. As a leading healthcare
services provider, we are committed to delivering superior,
patient-centered care that supports our mission to improve and save
lives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing
high-level nursing care to patients who have suffered from
neurological trauma or are recovering from neurological surgeries,
closely monitoring their conditions, and collaborating with a team
of specialized professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Assessing patient conditions and administering appropriate medical
interventions in a timely manner. Monitoring neurological status
and vital signs, adjusting or administering medication as
prescribed by medical staff. Collaborating with neurosurgeons and
other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans. Providing post-operative care and monitoring
for complications. Educating patients and their families on disease
processes, post-hospital treatment, and preventative measures.
Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records. Participating in
continuous education to stay up-to-date with advancements in
neurocritical care. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
neurological care. Proficient in using medical software and
electronic health records. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for dealing with diverse patients and medical
teams. Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure
situations. Comprehensive knowledge of infection control practices.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current Registered Nurse license. Certification in
Neurological Care (CNRN) preferred, but not required. BLS/ACLS
Certification.
