Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency
Medicine Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) for a high-acuity
community hospital in Bryson City, NC . This is a short-term, 2–6
month assignment beginning April 11, 2026, with guaranteed monthly
shifts and multiple schedule options. If you’re an APP with proven
EM experience and comfort in a busy, trauma-designated ED — this is
an ideal opportunity to step into consistent coverage with full
medical staff support. Assignment Snapshot Location: Bryson City,
NC Start Date: April 11, 2026 Contract Length: 2–6 months Schedule
Availability: 10 shifts per month Shifts Available: 7AM–7PM 7PM–7AM
EMR: Paragon Privileging: Temporary privileges available (~30 days)
Facility & ED Profile Annual Volume: ~10,000 Hospital Beds: 17 ED
Beds: 5 Patients per Hour: ~1 Trauma Designation: Level IIII
Staffing Model: Solo Provider - Currently 3 NP/PAs, 1 MD This is a
modern ED with strong medical staff alignment, and rapid access to
specialty support — creating a safe and well-structured environment
for APPs practicing independently. Clinical Requirements
Certification: NCCPA or NCCNP (required) Certifications: ACLS,
ATLS, PALS, BLS Experience: 3 years Emergency Medicine experience
Licensure: Active & unrestricted North Carolina license Must be
comfortable managing acute presentations and collaborating with the
